Occupied Staging
Living in a house you are trying to sell can be stressful! Your realtor has likely told you to de-personalize your home, but you may have found it difficult to emotionally detach yourself from your much-loved home. Keeping your home ready for open houses is tedious and only gets more difficult the longer it is on the market. This is where we come in… we’re here to help! Our aim is to guide you through the process of optimizing your home's potential and ensuring it offers a wider appeal to a variety of buyers.
Staging is not home decorating. Home staging is the process of preparing your home for sale in order to make it more appealing to the highest number of potential buyers. Love Home Redesign’s process begins with a thorough walkthrough of both the interior and exterior of your home. During this session our goal is to relieve your stress, gently offer suggestions, and make a plan to redesign your rooms to maximize selling potential.
Our job is to:
❤ Position your furnishings to show the full beauty of your home, while keeping it comfortable enough for you to live in until the house sells;
❤ Selectively edit your belongings so potential buyers can mentally “move in;” and
❤ Make your house appealing to many buyers by bringing in furniture and accessories, when needed, to complete the look.

We can stage a house that is currently occupied or unoccupied. We strive to meet all customers’ time and budget requirements. Our usual staging takes 2-3 days, starting with a walk-through, assessment and consultation.
We’re trained to highlight your home’s positive features and distract from any negatives.

Unoccupied Staging
Empty houses, even if recently renovated, can present problems for potential buyers. Many potential buyers simply cannot picture how their belongings will fit into empty spaces. By bringing pretty furnishings into your empty home, it suddenly becomes warm and inviting.
An additional problem with a vacant home is that buyers may wonder about the purpose of an empty room. It’s best to define each area with furnishings to clearly define each space. By placing a coat rack and boot tray, a buyer will easily identify the area as a functional mud room. A desk in a spare bedroom allows buyers to envision a home office rather than an empty bedroom.
Filling a vacant house with furniture distracts a buyer’s eye from noticing minor imperfections. It keeps the focus away from what is not there and highlights what it could be.
